FAQs

Some of the questions we are asked the most

How do I know what paperweight to use?

Our extensive print knowledge means we can help advise on the best paper and weight for your project. You will have the final decision but we will be on hand to guide you. We have samples to help you decide.

Why does my logo look a different colour on my tablet and mobile?
Screens are viewed in RGB (red, green, blue) and printed materials are processed in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black).  Screens will have different calibrations. Wherever you can, check a digital PDF proof and ask your printer to supply a proof.

Can the logo and images on my website be used for a printed product?
Your logo and images on your website will only be 72 dpi. For printing purposes, logos and images need to be 300 dpi to ensure they are clear.

Do you create and develop websites?
We can design a website for you. We work with a website designer who can create and develop your website.

Do you provide a printing service?
We do not print in-house, but we have several reliable printers that we use depending on the type of project. Before we proceed we will get 3 quotes and go with the best one for you.

What format will I get my logo?

When we design a logo, we create it as an EPS (Encapsulated Postscript). This means that you can scale your logo large or small and it won't lose any resolution. Please note you will only be able to open this file if you have the design software. We will also supply your logo as JPEG and PNG files which you can use for social media. You also get a brand guideline sheet for future reference.

How long will it take?
Turnaround times will vary depending on the complexity of the design. We will endeavour to deliver your requirements, on time and within your budget.

How will I receive my design project once it is finished?
We will provide a hi-res PDF. We will keep a copy of your project on file for future updates.

When do I pay?
