What is FSC certified?

What is FSC Certified

What is FSC certified, and what does it mean? FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council. The Council is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organisation. It promotes the responsible management of the world’s forests.

The logo can often be found on a piece of wooden furniture you have bought or even on toilet rolls! This means you can buy products with confidence, knowing that you are helping to ensure our forests are alive for generations to come.

Print

The FSC standard that applies to our printers is a chain of custody standard. This means that the paper they print on can be traced right back to the forest where the trees were grown. Only printers with FSC Certification are allowed to use the FSC logo. Many of the printers we use are FSC Certified and this means you can have an FSC logo printed on your work at no extra cost.

There are brand guidelines to follow. The logo has to be a certain size and in certain places on any printed work. If you would like to use the FSC logo, we can advise you on these rules.

If you want to promote your environmental credentials to your client consider using the FSC logo in your printed materials.
